I don't understand these bad reviews. Dr. Landes saved my life. I had so much acid build up it shrunk my esophagus to were I choked when eating and that's how we found out. He performed 8 surgeries on my esophagus. Eight! We became friends and joked when I would roll into the OR for another surgery. He made it comfortable and not so scary for me. If, I didn't think I was in good hands or he wasn't good I surely wouldn't of went through 8 times with him. It took years for me to eat regular again but if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be here today.

It took forever to get a procedure done and they ended up pushing it out even further. This was not during COVID. I begged the doctor to perform the endoscopy as I knew something was wrong and he refused. I scheduled with Augusta Health, and within two months I had the procedure done. They found multiple ulcers that needed to be biopsied. If they come back cancerous I’m going to be quite upset that Dr. Landes made me wait and refused to perform the procedure I had scheduled.

I don't understand these bad reviews. I've been seeing Dr. Landes as needed for 25 years and I think he's great. I had ulcers as well. It might take a little longer to schedule an appointment because he's a specialist and they are very busy. Some people just want to complain!!

Read these reviews people this doctor cares less i had a scope put down my throat paid in the thousands called that night in pain was in tears and he told me i sound ok. Was up all night went to another hospital for help rmh and dr landes cares about money go to uva or Augusta hes older and cares nothing about you only his money and big house

Dr Landes has been my Dr for many years and I for one say he’s the best GI dr around , I had Crohn’s disease many years ago and I must have went to emergency room 20 times over the years and got treated for stomach flu or other , then my Dr John Timmons sent me to Dr Landes and he found out I had Crohn’s disease and diverticulosis and been successfully treating me ever sense .. I recommend him to all my friends ..
