STAY AWAY FROM THIS THIEVING COMPANY!

I would give this sham company no stars or negative stars if that was possible! They are pompous and unprofessional crooks.

I moved from China and my belongings were professionally packed and dealt with from the dispatching end. Unfortunately their partner here is Prisma.

These people told me my things had arrived in NY and that we they can be delivered to my house in 5 days. I told them to deliver the shipment next week and they said they will arrange but they did not give further confirmation. Then the following week they gave me 48 hours notice that my things will be delivered. I confirmed with them but they did not reply. I wrote them and they basically told me I was stupid to assume it would be delivered since they had not confirmed. I then gave them a specific date and time for delivery and they also did not confirm. I wrote again asking when my deliver will be made and still not reply.

So imagine my shock when they invoiced me $270 for 3 weeks of storage for my goods at their facilities, and noted on the invoice that my goods will not be delivered unless I pay up!!!

They are beyond shocking! How can anyone operate like this under false pretences and sleep at night!!!

I would have rated the organization highly until I had a problem with the delivery of my container. There was broken items, a missing box and missing necklace. I purchased the insurance so I wasn't worried. I sent them photos of the damaged mirrors and TV, an itemized list of the content of the missing box etc. The cost of the damage was about $2,200. I received notice from their insurers that they would pay be $18.60. I contacted them again and not even the courtesy of a reply. Therefore, I would never recommend this company of anyone. Very poor follow-up and a disgrace on their insurance claims.

Hired Prisma to move me from California to Canada. They said my shipment would take 1-2 weeks. It took over 1 month to arrive.

I was repeatedly given inaccurate information re: the location of my shipment and when it would arrive. As soon as my stuff arrived I filed a complaint with their customer service and surprise surprise - No response. So I took it to the Better Business Bureau

For 4 months now I have been in, what feels like, a junior high bickering match with them on The Better Business Bureau. They refuse to reach an agreement with me (I proposed a partial refund considering my shipment was unreasonable late and their estimate was fantastically inaccurate) and they spew untruths/redirect the questions on the BBB dispute forum to make it seem like I am wrong.

All in all - to avoid the headache of dealing with unprofessionals, and to avoid getting unreliable service I recommend you don't hire Prisma. I was repeatedly lied to and truly feel I did not get what I paid for.

There are so many other international movers, save yourself the hassle and stress and don't use Prisma. Stylianos, the sales person excellent but once they have your shipment that's where all customer service ceases. I cannot count the number of times I tried to contact the operations team i.e. Juan and Alex, requesting an update and received no response.

I was quoted 6-8 weeks but my furniture arrived after 11 weeks. The agreement only states an estimated date of arrival and not a guaranteed date so try use a company that is specific. Some of my items were dented and scratched because they were not packed properly. They only had brown paper and clear film and didn't protect the corners!

Ultimately I was relieved to receive anything at all. And I don't fancy my chances trying to claim for damages through the insurance.

Stay away from these theives. I paid extra for them to pack my breakables so they would arrive safely to their new destination (international). I was moving from US to Australia most there were a fair bit of stuff that arrived broken and a few things missing.

it was an absolute nightmare to communicate with these guys. They took forever to respond to anything and they didn't want to cough up the money that they owed me for the damage to my items.

They were more pain than what they are worth. Dealing with these guys was worst part of my move. I ended up contacting the Australian office to try and contact them. It took several months and alot of arguing before i got my money back. I also went on FB to post a negative feedback and they deleted it.

If you want to move try to find a company that is honest and reliable with good values. These guys are just cowboys and you can't really tell where they are really established i kept being spoken to by ppl from different countries....

I used Prisma to do a move of house furniture and a motorcycle in April 2013 from Boston to Devon in UK. Their sales team did a great job and in fairness, they moved fast to get the packing and shifting done to meet the closing date for my property, but that's where the good news ends!

On the journey over, because corners of the furniture were not properly protected and some of the heavier items were not properly secured in the container, a significant amount of minor damage was inflicted on pretty much every item. In the move, an exercise bike fell because it was not secured, smashing one furniture piece and several picture frames.

Worst of all was my pride and joy Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was not crated as promised and was secured on the side stand. During the journey it rolled from the stand damaging the bike considerably.

As we say, these things happen, but what followed was about as unprofessional as it gets. There was communication with many at Prisma, from the MD down, but they simply ignored the requests from myself, the insurers and the loss adjusters. I am still struggling to get the repairs effected and it's now July!

In addition, I also paid for Prisma to do the import paperwork, but they failed to do so and I have had to do much of the legwork to get Customs & Excise clearance so I can get the required NOVA number to get the motorcycle registered here in UK.

In all, the service can be rated poor at best and I would not recommend anyone use this company. There are plenty of competitors out there and I am left sorely wishing I had chosen one of those instead of Prisma.

Used their service on a move from the US to Germany. Holy smokes, talk about crappy service. From the day they received their money to the day I received my goods. I ended up paying 4x the advertised amount in phone calls, grey hair and blood pressure. Horrendous service, awful end result. Most of my stuff came destroyed.

9/19/2014 - Be Ware! - Shipment arrived at destination port in Holland, even though the final delivery of cargo is in Paris. Agent in Holland advised there would be an 'additional delivery' charge to Paris of less than 200 Euros.

My signed Prisma Cargo contract state 'Delivery at destination included'.

When I tried reaching Prisma Cargo to advise that these 'additional delivery' charges needed to be payed by them, They completely avoided the issue.

Their responses:
"sorry, didn't receive your email" will check and get back to you.
"I already sent an email to the agent at destination"
"sorry, your prisma cargo rep is at lunch"
"sorry, your prisma cargo rep is on another call"
"sorry, called agent in Holland, they're gone for the day, will get back to you"

After several other phone call attempts, they blocked my mobile and sent it to voice mail.

Complete nightmare.

I do not recommend them at all. Beware of other reviews!
