Convenient little airport almost size of a mini bus station with one runway service to Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego on seasonal times otherwise Los Angeles only, baggage claim is outside as well as shuttles and taxis, there is a small restroom inside, check in counter and car rental desk. Main problem with this is frequent flight cancellations due to weather so plan ahead carefully.

They will tell you to come an hour before while half an hour is more than enough really. There's a coffee shop, a comfortable waiting lounge and clean toilet with lotions for you.

I flew from this quaint little airport Non-Stop to Tokyo. The first class service was superb, second to only pan am.

The prime rib was a tad dry, but the homemade banana tapioca pudding more than made up for it. Suffice to say, I will fly from here once again

On December 8th - the airport is shuts down because the De-Icing machine breaks down? They don't have a back-up? So the Alaska Airlines flight is cancelled because the idiots who run the airport don't have a back-up for the De-Icing. Hello! The airport serves a ski area. A ski area gets snow. Airplanes can't fly if they have ice on the wings because the planes crash and everyone dies. Who ever is running this airport should be fired for sheer stupidity. The plane was full. So not only are all these people massively inconvenienced, think about all of the lost income, ski lift tickets, lodging, restaurant spending, on and on. However, the idiot airport manager saved some money by not having his de-icing equipment up and running and a back-up ready. So next time these affluent flyers plan their next trip, where do you think they will go? Probably not Mammoth! Fire the Airport manager!

Missed my flight because I was only 45 minutes early to check in for flight that was 1/3 of the way full. If you only have one agent to run the ticket counter, plane boarding/un boarding, luggage loading ETC...THEN POST IT ON THE WEBSITE!!!! I wasnโ€™t the only person that missed the flight. Other staff was completely unhelpful. Typical Mammoth Lakes. The community wants to keep the airport up and running...not the way to do it.

I dislike everything about it in most flight they force you to buy the ticked there and back. Haha and that's if you get a ticket, I tried buying a ticket when I had an emergency to get to Los Angeles and catch another flight. Oh did I mention you can only fly to about 5 cities? Anyways let me continue I tried calling to book a flight 3-4 hours previous to the departure but no one would answer. I tried to book it on their website but there was no easy way to book it I mean the site is a mess. It talks more about the town of mammoth lakes then it does their flights. So I couldn't figure out how to book it so I paid the airport a visit. I walked in and the rude gentlemen said do you have your birding pass I said "no I want to buy one" and he replied "oh we don't sell them here at the airport we only do luggage" I asked him "well where can I get one?" To which he replied "online or on the phone." Mammoth airport is a joke
