Absolutely amazing experience. AAA left us stranded for 12 hours with no ETA of finding us a 200 mile tow for our truck and trailer. Called Billie at 5pm and he was ready to pick us up in a few hours after he got back from another job. Fortunately we found a campsite at Glacier View Campground in Big Pine and we decided that a morning pickup would be best for everyone. Billie and Mike showed up, hooked up the truck and trailer and we spent the next 4 hours chatting, laughing, and sharing great camping stories and a few prime fishing spot locations. Do yourself a favor and call Billie if you need a tow, don’t forget that AAA will reimburse for qualified tow services.

Our travel trailer blew a bearing and needed to be towed. We called Billy at High Sierra Transport and tow. He answered the phone right away and had to drive an hour to our location. He and his partner hooked up our 30’ travel trailer and put it on his flat bed and towed it an hour into Bishop to Perez Tire. Billy was awesome. He was so personable and friendly and his rates were fair. I would recommend him to anyone in the area. His price was actually less than what he quoted. Wonderful service and a nice honest person. Doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you Billy!!

Billie towing service is 12/10. They were great, personable and truly cared. Our vehicle had a flat out on DV road and it was 60+ miles out where there was no service. We had a friend in another vehicle that we went back into mammoth with. I called Billie tow service the next day and they even came up to mammoth to pick up our key to go get the car. They said enjoy your time in mammoth. They went above and beyond and can’t say enough how amazing their service was. Highly suggest them for your towing needs. And that’s an underrated statement. If your looking for a tow and see this review… your next step is to call them!

If you end up needing a tow in mammoth, I recommend going with literally any other tow company. If you make the mistake of choosing Billie’s, your time will be wasted, you will be overcharged, and you will have to walk on eggshells to avoid upsetting this guy. I expressed to you exactly where I wanted my vehicle towed. If there was any confusion, it was entirely on your end. Interestingly, you made no effort to clear up this “confusion” with me. You expressed that you MIGHT be able to pick up my vehicle in an “ideal world” the morning after I talked to you. But seeing as how my vehicle was broken down in a tow away zone and I live several hours away from Mammoth, I wanted to get at least a rough idea of when you would be able to pick up my vehicle. I don’t know why you had such a difficult time understanding that I wouldn’t want to leave my vehicle unattended in a private lot under the assumption that you “might” come get it at some point. If you had a shred of confidence in your ability to run your business, this should have been no problem for you. Instead of simply assuring me that you would in fact be able to tow my car and giving me a rough estimate of when (I suppose that was too complicated for you), you ignored my attempts to contact you until the following morning. When I was finally able to get in touch with you, you decided to throw a tantrum, tell me to find someone else, and hang up on me. I did in fact find someone else! Within 30 minutes of being on the phone with them, I was given an exact time of when to expect them and was charged nearly $200 less than what you quoted me. I also find it very ironic that you were near impossible to get ahold of when I was trying to get basic information from you, but you somehow found the time to call me multiple times back to back immediately after I left a bad review. I suppose you’re more concerned about your insecurities regarding your poorly run business than you are with providing customers with basic information about your services. I hope you can work on your temper and communication skills in the future.

WE LOVE BILLIE!! We severed a break line during a crazy winter storm in Mammoth, and when all towing services told us we were SOL and all hope seemed to be lost, Billie came through through like the LEGEND he is. He's a busy man but he put in the effort to make sure we were taken care of. Towed us to JS Automotive (also gets a 5 star review if you are looking for an honest, hardworking mechanic in Bishop) and even gave us a lift to the rental car place. Cant recommend this service enough. Thank you again!

Highly recommend Billie’s High Sierra Transport & Tow! My family and I were on our way back from vacation until our car broke down in Mammoth Lakes. This was the only company that accommodated our dog as well as towing us 4.5hrs down to Burbank. Service was professional and they made the long drive feel easy. Thank you Billie and Dawn!

What a great outfit! I called them at 4:30 PM to see they were able to schedule a tow-back for my repaired car from a dealership in Carson City, NV to Bishop, CA (~180 mile trip). They told me they were in the area and they could have my car back that evening. Blew my mind! Sure enough, my car came back that same day. You're #1 in my book!

Billie’s has been incredibly helpful and friendly, went out of his way to be here in June Lake at the time I needed him and he couldn’t be any easier and more pleasant to deal with! If you need a tow in June Lake or Mammoth, use Billie’s!
