Smashburger is decent if you’re looking for a quick burger fix, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The menu has a good variety of options, which is nice, and the service was friendly and efficient.

The burger itself was alright—not bad, but nothing that really stood out. The patty was cooked well, but the seasoning was a bit bland, and the toppings, while fresh, didn’t add much excitement. The bun was soft, but it got soggy pretty quickly, which made it a bit messy to eat.

The fries were average—crispy enough but lacking in seasoning, and the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Speaking of price, it’s on the higher side for what you get, which makes it hard to justify as a go-to spot.

Overall, Smashburger is okay if you’re in the area and craving a burger, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again. There’s room for improvement, and with a few tweaks, it could be much better.

This is our favorite burger spot on the Monterey Peninsula. The food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and customized to how you request. It is clean. Parking is okay, it shares a lot with quite a few other businesses but that's not a deal breaker for the quality of food I'm getting.

Hands down, what stands out for me, beyond the truffle mushroom burger and smash fries is the service provided by the staff at SmashBurger. It's quite a contrast from other local restaurants. I would be remiss if I didn't give special kudos to the young man who has been there the past few times we've been in, Steven. His work ethic is bar none. And his enthusiasm to provide high quality service is something you simply don't see anymore.

Don't hesitate to give Smashburger a try. You'll find it infinitely better than The Habit, hands down.

The atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. Hailey was an absolute delight! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our meal was just right. It’s rare to come across such excellent customer service, and Hailey truly made my visit special. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Smashburger to anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service!

It’s been a few years since I visited a Smashburger after moving, but I was pleasantly impressed to see that the service and quality continues to be exceptional. My son had the ground chicken burger and smash fries (which I’m guilty of taking a few to enjoy) and I had the Truffle Mushroom Burger. Very high quality and highly recommend visitors of the area to enjoy a great lunch here in Marina, CA.

first time ever trying smash burger and it is amazing truly a 10/10. the staff and service was surprisingly quick especially since every order is made fresh. an honorable mention goes out to steven making sure our order was perfect. i have allergies and he made sure to inform me and make my order with caution something that other restaurants lack.
