Polite, professional, prompt. They helped my husband move a giant table down a scary incline, then up a flight of stairs. I heard a young man offer to take the heavy side of the job “because you’re hiring me! I should do the harder part.” Suffice it to say, it’s a rare brand of commitment. This company isn't worth 1 star. They sent boys to move us and my wife and I did more moving than the movers. Arrived late after 10am and finally got through after 2am, that's right 2am, the next morning. This is after two, 2 hour lunch breaks, multiple times of the boys sitting around not doing anything and going over an hour out of the way to the wrong address to deliver. When they finally got to the house to drop off, most of our stuff is damaged including our $3800 sleep number bed frame. Which I had to fix myself but and lost the warranty on it and it still doesn't operate properly. So when it's all said and done and they want to get paid the rest of the money and say we owe over $1100 more than they quoted. Why? Because they work hourly. This was never discussed and if I knew upfront you can bet we wouldn't have used them. We never received paperwork until days after we disputed the ridiculous charges. Now I know why the boys took as long as they did. They could charge more. So we offered to pay a responsible amount to make them go away but John demanded the full amount. We declined. So what did they do? They charged our credit card that was used for the down payment. Yes if used them and your credit card they keep all your information and will use it without your authorization. They did us. Ethan the owner and John even told my wife to sue them if we wanted our money back. Well let's go boys, see you in Autuaga court. We have the text, email and pictures to prove everything. I'll keep everyone updated as we go along. I can't wait for the response to this review. In response to the response received. I'm glad you take responsibility for the damage to our bed. That makes it easier for the judge. I don't need a threat of a "strong legal team". I have right on my side and your omission of guilt. So send me the $3800 for the bed frame and we will call it even. Seeing you have acknowledged it was your fault.

We recently used We-Haul for our local move. They are out of Alexander, Alabama. Two of the nicest young men came and moved our whole house. They were very professional and when they left to go get lunch they asked if they could bring us something. Usually the homeowner asks if they can get the movers some lunch. They wrapped everything and took care of our belongings. If we ever move again, I’ll definitely call them.

We used We-Haul in Alexander City, AL. to deliver some new furniture to our home in Dadeville, Al. Everything was handled professionally from the initial phone call, quote, pricing and the delivery guys EXCEPT for the timing of arrival time. They were supposed to show up between 10am and 12pm. They finally arrived around 130 pm. HOWEVER, I was called around 1030am to let me know they would be a little late, but we're leaving then. I called them at 1230 to ask if they were close, and was told they were finally leaving. It is only a 35 minute drive between the two towns. This is why I gave a rating of 4 instead of a 5.

From the phone call setting up the appointment with We- Haul from Alexander City for the move to getting the last piece of furniture in the house the guys made it very comfortable, it was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE as far as moving goes.
The guys were very polite, they wrapped the furniture before they took it to the truck. They were very careful to see that nothing was scratched or broken. They went the extra mile to see that everything was put where I wanted it. They even moved a piece a couple of times and didn't act like it was a bother and moved my move date up earlier and didn't hesitate.
If we move again we will certainly be calling WE- HAUL IN ALEX CITY to do our move.

We Haul was great. The two young men who came did the job of moving a 750lb safe very efficiently. They were careful and very polite and professional. Will definitely be my call for the future.

We have used We/Haul multiple times at Lake Martin. They even moved us to the beach! They are fast, professional, mannerly, and hard working! My sister used them as well and we can't say enough nice things about the people and their operation. Highly recommend them!
