Unethical Business Practices and Fraudulent Behavior by Home Delivery Link

My name is Frankie Clark, the owner of IJC Logistics, and I am writing this review to share my extremely negative experience with Home Delivery Link. This company has engaged in unethical business practices that have severely impacted me and my business.

1. Robbery of Funds: Home Delivery Link has failed to deliver on the promised services and has effectively robbed me of my hard-earned money. Despite payment for services rendered, they have not fulfilled their obligations.

2. Defamation: Additionally, I have evidence that Home Delivery Link has spread false information about IJC Logistics to other businesses, damaging our reputation and credibility within the industry.

3. Forgery: Shockingly, I recently discovered that Home Delivery Link forged my signature on documents without my knowledge or consent. This deceptive behavior is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their integrity as a company.

4. Threats and Unacceptable Treatment of Workers: Furthermore, Home Delivery Link creates a hostile work environment by threatening contractors if routes are not completed regardless of the time of day. The pressure to complete routes under duress, even late into the night, demonstrates a lack of regard for worker safety and well-being.

5. Misconduct by Managers at Live in Spaces and Ashley's Furniture: The managers at Live in Spaces and Ashley's Furniture have engaged in inappropriate behavior by using tactics such as leveraging sex appeal or authority to manipulate contractors. They have spread false information within the home delivery community about contractors who did not comply with their demands, tarnishing reputations unjustly.

6. Coercion and Intimidation Tactics: These managers would resort to coercion tactics such as threatening to tow trucks or cutting routes if contractors did not comply with their unreasonable demands. Additionally, they would attempt to poach employees from non-compliant contractors through manipulation tactics.

Our interactions with Home Delivery Link at these locations were marred by manipulation, coercion, and dishonesty perpetrated by management figures who abused their positions of power.

Overall, my experience working with Home Delivery Link under these circumstances was a nightmare due to their unethical practices across various levels of management within partner locations like Live in Spaces and Ashley's Furniture.
I urge others in the home delivery community to be cautious when engaging with this company given their history of unethical conduct.
I plan to take further action against Home Delivery Link to seek resolution for the harm they have caused me as the owner of IJC Logistics.

1 out of 3 items delivered because of the condition they were in or just missing. We did not want their team out after 10PM on the nightly before Thanksgiving So even after waiting all day we agreed with Dagoberto to get items delivered the day after the holiday. When I called to check status they said they have no control over the 3rd party scheduling. They lied and Luz was unapologetic to say the least. I can see that your reviews speak to your work ethic or lack there of so one more bad review doesn’t matter to you.

They delivered a nightstand and scratched our brand new wood floor, they did not even bother to ensure there was sufficient protection on the bottom of the furniture prior to moving the future into place. After submitting the claim with Ashley furntiure and after a week they rejected our claim due to the fact the photos looked different. SHAMEFUL Company, What a horrible experience!!

If anyone else with damages is interested in a class action lawsuit feel free to contact us.

I am only leaving a 1 star review to be able to warn others. We paid for the expert delivery of our couch and chair from Ashley furniture through this delivery company.

They are unprofessional and ruined our new flooring. After seeing them scratch out doorway on their way in sliding the box I informed the two men then were damaging our new bamboo floor. We’re in the process of selling and that’s going to impact our value. They then proceeded to continue to scratch our floor installing the couch and put the chair on top of the scratch and not say a word. As if we wouldn't notice a scratch over a foot long!

I asked the delivery team TWICE to plug the units directly into the wall outlets and not a power strip that was there for other items. They ignored my request both times and proceeded to plug them directly into the power strip not the two specified outlets. They put the couch so close to the wall it could not open. So we had to move the couch when we paid them to.

They had time to try and make the scratches less visible but not time to clean up their mess on our patio.

The delivery team tried to convince me not to report it and their “friend” would fix our floors and to deal with them directly. I insisted it was reported. When the driver made the call to the center to confirm delivery he tried to say delivery was completed without issue. I chimed in and said no in fact they damaged our floors. I was told that customer service would contact me to file a report. No contact. Two weeks later we escalate to a better business bureau complaint and now they are claiming they didn’t damage our floors because the driver said they didn’t.

Females be warned: they will try and imitate you to not file a report and completely ignore your requests. The men refused to leave until I said my faincee would deal with it.

Save your money and don't deal with the hassle of an unprofessional and disrespectful company.

Delivered outdoor furniture from West Elm. They destroyed an outdoor light fixture by leaning a heavy box against it. They denied this claim until I let them know it was captured on a Ring camera. They have been dragging this process on for months. I received an email this morning stating they wouldn’t pay to replace the fixture because it is still in “good condition”. Absolutely horrendous customer service. I really hope furniture companies read these reviews and stop hiring them. They are destroying your customer’s homes and doing nothing to make it right!

They used to deliver for Morris Home Furniture, but they recently severed the relationship because of all the issues, which probably include many like I experienced: Did not arrive on time and scratched up the floors during assembly. But the real kicker is that the delivery drivers DID NOT TELL ME! I discovered the extent of the damages and filed a claim, at which point I was told they'd compare my images to those the drivers took. What? They knew they damaged the floor, took pics, and decided to leave without telling me? I asked Customer Service if they instruct drivers to do this and...no response. Super shady (and illegal maybe?) way to minimize risk on their end.
