I recently hired The Murdock's Moving Company for my recent move, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional service I received. The team worked remarkably quickly without compromising on quality. The crew arrived on time and was incredibly professional. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly knew what they were doing. Each member of the team was well-trained and worked efficiently, making sure to handle my belongings with care. They took the time to wrap and protect my furniture and fragile items, which gave me peace of mind. I was particularly impressed by how they treated my items. Not a single piece of furniture was scratched or damaged during the entire process, which is something I’ve heard horror stories about with other companies. They even helped me set up my furniture in the new place, ensuring everything was exactly where I wanted it. Moving can be a daunting task, but they made it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and professional moving company. I will definitely use them again for any future moves!

The guys were great. Initial two individuals showed up and worked for a few hours, they realized the job would benefit with a little more support so a third member showed up and the three of them knocked it out of the park.

When we were finished up they even helped move a very heavy desk to the opposite end of the house that was not part of the move & I really appreciated that.

Overall the team was incredibly professional & they worked the entire time and regularly checked in to let me know what was going on.

My movers came on time. They were polite. They treated my furniture carefully. Place them where i asked them to. Overall my experience was a good one. I will use Murdocks Moving & Storage again. And i do recommend their services.

I used this service, and while the office staff were accommodating, I did not think the 2 men who came to move were very professional. They were having loud private conversations while in my home and were so loud outside I could make out what they were saying loud and clear. They scraped a door frame that was freshly painted in our new place, took one of the mattress covers I had just bought brand new, and now I find that they left tape on the bottom of my mattress and they had ripped the waterproof cover. They also left my screendoor tied up with a bungee cord they had wrapped around it that I had to untie. The guy who had me sign the paperwork would act differently and "more professional" when directly interacting with me as if i didn't just hear him yelling and having personal conversations a moment before. Also, they have a 2 hour minimum (it took them just under 1 hour total) and don't tell you when they quote you over the phone that they charge mileage, so seeing that in the quote was a frustrating surprise. I spent over $400 to have them move 2 dressers, 2 mattresses (no frame or box spring), 1 couch, and a washer 2 miles to our new place. Next time I move, I will try another service as I just don't think this service is for me.

Highly recommend Murdocks Moving! I bought a large used SPA and no way I could move it myself. They were right on time and moved it from a super small space to another tight space at my house. The 3 guys who showed up were very professional & hard working. Definitely will use them again!!

Nick has that old-school top notch customer service. I reached out for a quote for assistance moving online. He called within a couple of hours and left me a voicemail letting me know he was ready to collect info for my quote so it was as accurate as possible. When I called back and gave details, he text me a link to video record and talk through what I needed done. He reviewed the video within 12 hours of me sending it back and gave me an accurate quote. It’s been a while since we last moved and prices have gone up quite a bit so we decided to rent a truck and do the move ourselves, but I believe pricing is in line with where rates are now in 2024 and it was certainly a good price if I wanted to shell out for that expense. Even still, I thought it was important to leave a review as Nick was such a pleasure to work with. Professional, patient, and kind. If we ever had a bigger move where it warranted the expense, I would definitely go with them in a HEARTBEAT! Will definitely be recommending them to others as well.
