Decor of 1950's. Service with a smile. Check the photos of the Reuben, corned beef on
rye bread. Not a lot of meat for $17.75. Cole slaw was lacking taste( All 3 of us agree). The Patty melt was better, but nothing special. Perhaps there are better dishes to order.

I recently dined at The Dinner of Los Gatos and had a mixed experience. The menu offered classic options like the Big Hotdog, Benedict Eggs, and a Garlic Mushroom Burger, each of which had room for improvement. The hotdog was overly salty, and the Benedict Eggs were unfortunately overcooked, leaving us wishing for a creamier texture. As for the Garlic Mushroom Burger, it was lacking the garlic flavor that was promised, which was disappointing for anyone hoping for a robust taste.

On the bright side, the atmosphere was fantastic, with nostalgic decor featuring Elvis and Marilyn Monroe everywhere, creating a fun, vintage vibe. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5 – enjoyable for a quick bite if you’re in the area but not quite hitting the mark. The ambiance definitely elevates the experience, though!

I took myself on a solo lunch date, and stopped by The Diner of Los Gatos for the first time in about 5 years.
Yadira was my server and holy crap was she incredible!! She has such a warm smile and sweet personality and always checked on me throughout the duration of my meal to make sure I was doing alright.
I ordered a shake to go and she even offered to keep it in the dessert fridge for me so it would stay nice and cold.
The atmosphere is a throwback to a 1950's inspired diner and I'm loving the groovy music and interior design. Booths are nice and squishy, the restaurant is very clean, and prices aren't too bad. For my burger, drink, and shake it was about $28.

Delicious brunch and excellent service! We ordered the nutella deliciousness, hash browns, the chilaquiles, the chunky monkey waffle, the veggie omelet, and the Joe’s special scramble. The nutella deliciousness was good, but the portion was big. The hash browns were great, and the chilaquiles were tasty. Everything was amazing, and our server was super helpful. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I would definitely come again.

Classic All-American diner with a great menu. The owner Jimmy and his team do an amazing job. Food is fresh and tastes great. The entire staff is always so friendly. I had the chicken fried steak eggs benedict and would definitely order again.

My recent visit to this cafe marked my second attempt to give it a chance, hoping for a better experience than the first. Unfortunately, the outcome left much to be desired.
I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and the soup of the day. While my sandwich was satisfactory, the same cannot be said for the soup, which disappointed both in presentation and taste. However, my friend's experience was less than ideal. He ordered the cheeseburger club sandwich, but upon inspection, it was evident that the beef had been poorly cooked and emitted an unpleasant odor. It seemed like the meat had gone bad before it even made its way to the grill.
We brought this issue to the attention of our server, expecting some form of resolution. Regrettably, her response was a simple apology, and nothing more. She didn't offer any alternatives, such as a complimentary dessert or the removal of the subpar sandwich from the bill. The lack of effort to address the problem left us disappointed and feeling undervalued as customers.
Despite our attempt to give this place a second chance, it seems that our experience remains unsatisfactory. The lack of proactive measures to rectify the situation leaves us hesitant to return, as it appears our concerns were not genuinely acknowledged or addressed.

Cute little diner tucked behind the main street of downtown Los Gatos. Great place for breakfast!
