I eat here on a fairly regular basis and I can confirm that the hot dogs are delectable. I particularly enjoy the default dog and the chili cheese dog. I can also confirm that the malts are delicious. The fries are great too. I cannot say anything about the burgers because I haven’t tried them. I like the old style vibes of the interior as well.

I have driven by this place a million times and finally I got to try it out.

I got the Kraut Hound and the Cheese Hound. Probably the best dogs I have had since when Costco used offered the Polish dog.

The service is great and the vibe just feels so relaxed.

If you have a chance, check it out and order a dog.

The Happy Hound is a great treat. My wife has been visiting since it opened, and I have been for 18 years now. There is a little room to dine inside and more dining outside. I have noticed a difference in the hot dog, since 2020, still very good they just don't have the same snap. That is okay flavor is more important. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hope you enjoy The Happy Hound as well.

The absolute biggest and best burger I have had in a very long time! If I was closer, I would stop and get the onion rings every single day! I could have used a little more ice cream in my root beer float, but it was still good as well! What a wonderful place!

Don’t get the burgers, they used to be alright but now they have become so bland and overpriced. An outrageous $2.25 to add cheese, making a cheeseburger cost over 12 dollars. Their burgers taste so bland and flavorless. Sauce doesn’t add any flavor, just makes the bun soggy. Their hot dogs are better and more reasonably priced but the burgers suck.

Such a cute lil take-out spot! Limited seating inside and out but super cute spot. The outside seating has stringed lights that make it so much more fun and romantic on a cool summer night.

Burger was amazing! I asked for grilled onions and it hit the spot. The burger was big and delicious. I got mine with a side of chili and it was definitely the right choice!

The onion rings were soooo crispy and so good. Their shakes also complete the whole meal. Ugh. 🤤

This is a hot dog specialty place - you can get krout dogs (my favorite), chili dogs and more. Lots of sauer kraout on the krout dog. I was able to order a vegi dog too. The garlic parmesan tots are also great.

Service was fast and friendly, We ordered through the outdoor window, but there is dining inside too.
