My three siblings and I are in the somewhat painful process of selling the family home in Los Altos, after our father passed. One of us was born there, three others moved there as kids, way back in the 50s. It's been the family home ever since. We tried our best to empty the house of important memories, but honestly, it's really hard to do. We're talking furniture, books, a typical mix of old stuff, very hard for an outsider to figure out what's just old and what's a memory.

Amanda and her crew were quick, efficient, extremely sensitive to some of the emotional baggage, a pleasure to deal with, start to finish.

I like going to estate sales by Kuzak's Closet because it has a neat looking website with tons of professionally taken pictures. But the couple of sales I have been to are not organized as cleanly as I expected, and the price is crazy high. I will continue to check out its sales, but so far the sales look better on the pictures.
