Pam was so sweet & wonderful! I had some people over to help pack. I tried a different Storage facility first and I'm glad they weren't open! Pam & I discussed briefly my moving needs and I came out of there more knowledgeable about my moving & storage options

Our unit is big we've been there to long and it's time to move it out the late fee is $48 plus they make you pay for insuring your stuff through your billing statement so you have no choice almost seems like a dictator maneuver but we really like the gal who manages the place she's great

I rented RV spaces and a storage unit from Sierra Self Storage. The staff here were always friendly and helpful. The storage facility clean. One of my favorite features is their well thought out security system. I had no concerns about a break in. If you need oil drip pans, they sell them in the store. The boxes they have are stronger than Home Depot boxes for about the same price. Thanks Sierra Self Storage!

Update: Updating the review to reflect 5 stars - Really appreciate the manager assisting me in this situation after the fact and reimbursing me for the extra miles - thank you for the great customer service and happy holidays!

Booked a Uhaul originally in Grass Valley closer to my home in Nevada City, was rebooked here and only given 54 miles for my one way trip to Sacramento. Mileage quoted changed from 80 miles then was reset to 70 somehow ended up only getting 54. Not sure how or why this changed multiple times during our pick up appointment. It took 20miles to even pick it up and get it back to my house, and the one way trip from my old to new address was 54miles. There was no way 54miles was going to cover the entire trip and we ended up paying $40 over for the mileage.

The lady that works there really was offensive when I rented my little 5x5 unit and I went to see it after paying of course and she came into where I was and proceeded to tell me I can't b living there. In a 5x5. I was waiting for my stuff to get there nor did I have anything in my car that would or could remotely look like I needed to live there I told her she was out of line and it was rude. I pay an outrageous monthly bill of $124 a month for a closet crazy

Well well well imagine my surprize when I went to my unit and it was almost empty.Somebody let an person cut my locks or whatever happened And move my stuff out. The best part was no one had my ok. The unit was in my name only. The lady at the front desk could have cared less

I have been with Sierra self-storage for more than six years now and have enjoyed the manager Pam and the clean units for many years. For the hours of the gates being open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. you can't beat it. Get a unit while they're still available!!
