They're the worst. How they got a 3 and a 1/2 star rating I I can only assume it's because the employee is. I assumed that air generals employees are the ones that are making these star rating go up. Nothing I've seen in the way they work with customers indicates they deserve any stars.
I think the employees must have been leaving reviews. 'cause a sure would never get a good review from me. I've been happy with my service exactly one time this year and I mean twelve months. Never use American or United for cargo they are the worst.
For some reason they think that if the luggage has been recovered immediately off the airplane they are done. They play games with people's cargo.
Air general is the most inept when it comes to actually doing the job of handing cargo shipments. They're so bad, I refused to ever fly United or American ever again. I figured if their cargo operation is so inept. I don't know what kind of shape they're planes are actually in.
They're in no rush whatsoever to recover cargo shipments. If you came in tomorrow for a shipment that landed today, it would still take them four hours to get your shipment.
They have no respect for a person's time. They have no respect for the companies who attempt to ship cargo. They have no respect for the fact that if it's a medical item that it needs to be handled in a timely matter. Medical shipment's are supposed to be a priority. Not a 2-3.5 hours wait time, with the shipment sitting in the sun.
Re-shipping on a different airline has happened.
Truck drivers and courier's have many deliveries in 1 day. They are obligated to make deliveries and ship items out. For a driver to be held up for 4 hours at Air General in order to pick up a cargo piece is utter stupidity. Is there anybody in charge? Is there anybody actually in charge over there to overseeing the nightmare we go through to recover a couple of 20 pound boxes? We're not done till the deliveries are made. We're off the clock waiting there.
That is part of our day is our time, unpaid, stuck waiting; We are paid to make deliveries not wait at Air General for the cargo people to take lunch, to change shifts take 3-5 trips out to the ramp.
At least put recliners and a couple of movies while we are held captive by these people.
You don't even have chairs in the waiting area.
If we're there for 3-5 hours, we end up with a 12 hour day. Our customers, our customers' patients and our families that we might have had plans with, don't appreciate that either.
An employee stayed 5 minutes over one time for me to recover a shipment that I had been waiting for for quite a while. They were super put out. They acted like their life was destroyed. Hahaha Try 3 or 4 f-ing hours.
Don't spend your money here.
You'll be paying for a lot of frustration. And you're paying to have your entire day destroyed because you have to attempt to recover or ship a piece of cargo or attempt to ship something out from these people.
It's so frustrating, knowing you have to deal with them in anyway, I dread those days knowing my day is most likely is going to be wasted, waiting at Air General/United
/American
This IS a nice version.
