The movers, especially the delivery team, damaged multiple pieces of furniture, causing over $5,400 in actual, documented damages. The moving team was rushed, sloppy, and reeked of pot. The Presto driver, repeatedly expressed his embarrassment over the condition of the delivery and promised that his boss, Henry, would take care of it. He didn't! Instead, the insurance company offered $300 in reimbursement and Henry offered to raise it to $700. Paltry sums compared to the total damage. Presto and Henry, refused to take responsibility for their actions, and tried to blame it on our Insurance choices (i.e.- not taking a massive, highly profitable up-sell to pay for their carelessness.) The episode is similar to someone with terrible insurance, smashing into the back of your car, causing major damage, then claiming he is not responsible for anything more that what his lousy insurance company offers. In short, be prepared to spend a ton of money on the move, have the movers damage your items and then be given the middle finger by the company.

I absolutely do not recommend that anyone would use presto logistics. I had jewelry that was stolen from our home when the movers came to drop off our stuff. When I followed up with the company they didn’t even bother getting back to me and I’m basically in a position where there is nothing I can do.
Besides that - they took about 20 days to deliver my items which is also unacceptable. Please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT hire this company

Terrible Service, Staff and no Accountability for damages!

The Crew in California was actually quite good, professional and all in all did a fairly good job loading the truck and packing up our furniture. No complaint. They picked up our belongings on 4/12/24.

When the truck arrived in Texas, well that is a whole different story. HORRIBLE service to say the least for 10K paid all in advance. Truck arrived in Austin on 4/21/24 at 1:30pm.

The contract indicated that we would have 4 movers and we were sent only three. The 3 movers arrived at 1:30 pm and were gone by 4:30 pm. They DID NOT ASSEMBLE our furniture, that in Irvine was dismantled. They left most everything delivered to Texas in the garage or in the living room area. They were in a hurry to leave and to get elsewhere.

One of the three movers that was sent (he said he was sent from "Facebook MarketPlace") was definitely NOT a professional, and had some type of issue with our nationality.

This same employee was verbally abusive and continuously made Racial Slurs to me, and my father. He threw our boxes and furniture up the stairs with absolutely no care. This employee also assaulted me physically by throwing small pieces of broken furniture at me.

We immediately called the Austin Police Department police and filed a Police Report for this abuse and for racial discrimination.

We felt threatened by this employee as we have a very small child and did not know if this person was under some type of substance, if he was armed, or if could return at a later date and injure my family in any way.

Nothing was put together by the movers, (beds and bedroom sets, bedroom wardrobe, living room furniture, etc..) items such as our television was broken, furniture in my baby's room purposely broken by the employee listed above, boxes were thrown up the stairs as if it were garbage, while at least another 32 boxes are still left sitting in my garage and need to be taken upstairs. We had to mount all of our furniture ourselves and carry them piece by piece upstairs when we hired PRESTO LOGISTICS to do this job.

We contacted PRESTO LOGISITIC by phone and were promised that our TV would be replaced, but as of now NO TV and NO reply to our written formal complaint about their employee's behavior.

I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a moving company as PRESTO LOGISTICS employs people (at least at destination; from our first-hand experience ) that are not professionals. PRESTO LOGISTICS does not take responsibility for their staff performance, the delivery of furniture in the same condition given to them, nor do they render services promised.

Beware!
Note to management: Please get a CRM or similar system to manage clients, communications about the move from beginning to end, etc.

My move was scheduled for pickup Sunday May 7th between 8am - 11am to go from Los Angeles to Miami.
I had a video call with Henry weeks prior who gave me an estimate of $2600. (I showed him all my belongings and mentioned to him that I had the usually pots, pans, dishes and clothes.) I also had a similar quote from another company. We also chatted about the moving company truck being able to get in to the new complex and I confirmed it after speaking with my new apartment complex and emailing Presto, so there wouldn't be an extra charge to transfer my things. (Note this for later)
Upon the pickup, I had a call at 6:58 am that they were there to pickup. Ok, I love early but I wasn't ready and the men were respectful and helped me pack remaining things. The men were very professional and did a great job packing everything. At the end, the gentleman told me I went over and they were adding an additional $1600. (WHAT!!) Also, No one informed me that I'd have to tip this moving crew as they were not part of the actual move across country.
I gave them my deposit and called Henry. He was very professional and shocked. We connected about 2 days later and he got me $600 off the extra charge.

Sunday May 12th, the new moving truck company called me and mentioned they should be arriving Friday May 19th. The gentleman I spoke to informed me they would have to transfer my things to a smaller moving truck as he currently is driving a Semi. The charge would be $350! I told him that I had chatted and emailed that I had approval to get a moving truck in to my complex but had I know it was a Semi the whole situation would have been different.

So here I am waiting for my truck to arrive and it's been an extra $1600 (Minus $600 that Henry took off), 1st Tip and an extra $350 for the smaller truck (I ended up negotiating them down) and I had to tip them too.

After unpacking everything, there are so many small/medium size cosmetic dings on my TV Stand, on 1 flatscreen TV, Picture frames, Side tables that it's not even worth reporting.... SO frustrating.

This company needs to figure out better communication and client management. There needs to be an "Onboarding" process from start to finish so we know what to expect. This has been close to a nightmare with all the unexpected fees. I hate to write these reviews especially when the people are professional and respectful.

Overall, we are very pleased with our move from California to Washington state by Presto Logistics.
As background, both my wife and I are former business owners, now retired, and have moved many times. Some with good experience, some bad.
We researched several companies. Most were anxious to provide quotes, but to get an accurate one they required that we did all the work in defining the inventory to be shipped. That’s not our expertise.

Presto was unique, in that Henry V. came to our CA home, did a careful assessment, and outlined what options we had and related costs. Most moving contracts appear similar. Henry made the difference for us. He was knowledgeable, professional, responded to our texts promptly, and alerted us to what caused changes in final pricing. He promised he would be our contact throughout, and he kept his word.

We needed to delay finalizing the contract until the home was sold and Henry remained in touch with us. We elected to pack many boxes ourselves, and have Presto pack the larger, more critical items. When we asked Henry to do a revised estimate, he did so without hesitation.

On moving day, the Presto crew, headed by Cesar, were on time, professional, careful, and communicated with us effectively during the day. We were impressed with how they wrapped and handled our furniture.
The option for 30-day storage was perfect for us, so we did not have to race the truck to WA.
On delivery day, The Presto driver, Brian S., was exceptional. He expertly backed his long truck onto our dead-end street and actively led his crew during the delivery. At the end of that long day all the furniture Presto packed and wrapped was unwrapped and reassembled with care. When we had trouble locating an item for our Grandfather Clock, Brian promptly contacted Cesar and through the phone we narrowed down the search.
In the end, there were no big cost or communication surprises.

In moving we expect some damage or loss, but nothing serious for us this time with Presto. In our experience, attitude and customer care starts at the top, and the owners/managers set the standard for their staff. In Presto's case, all the people we dealt with were top notch.

BEWARE! Do not use this movers they will rip you off. We were quoted $3400 for our move after doing a zoom of our storage unit. The day of they said it would be over $2000 more due to packaging and additional cubic feet. Martin the driver had me sign the packaging form before it was filled out with $810 of additional packing fees that we were never told about. They literally charged us $75 to put a tv in a box. I could have packed the stuff myself. I would have rented a uhaul and done everything myself if I'd known they were going to take advantage and gouge us. That was our original plan until they assured us that it would be comparable in cost but with full service benefits. I asked for the guy Henry who gave us the quote to call me and still have not heard from them. They don't tell you of the additional costs until all your belongings are packed on the truck and then you have no choice. Shame on this company

We recently used Presto Logistics for our move from Los Angeles to Houston. The process was seamless from start to finish. Daniel Navarro was readily available and provided us with an over the phone quote estimate. He then set up our in home estimate with manager, Henry Vogel. Henry was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. On moving day, staff was hardworking , handled and packed items with care and precision. I would highly recommend Presto Logistics for any moving and packing needs. Excellent overall experience!!
