I frequent this place nearly every time I'm working in the area. Great deli sandwiches, friendly service and a comfortable laid-back atmosphere. I would recommend the Mendo sandwich.

I have lived in this area for seven years and just started coming to this location. Being that I am from a family that owns a renowned deli in Ukiah. I came at it quite critically. To my surprise, I was quite impressed. In a deli, I always look for freshness of Produce and of course flavor. Karkar deli is now my go to place for a great sandwich since I am too far away to eat at my family’s place on the regular. I have personally tried a custom order sandwich that was made exactly to what I had requested. I also tried one of their combo sandwiches that I really liked. I am looking forward to trying a Panini. Generally their prices range just a little bit over $10 for a sandwich. I think that is a great price considering what our economy is going through and I myself knowing the cost of food from a restaurants purchasing point. BTW they don’t overcharge for avocados, if that’s your thing. Getting ready to place my next order online. Last time I did online ordering I came in to pick it up and it was ready to roll in a cute paper bag with my name on it and a couple of napkins! ? I’ll be your newest ‘regular’ KarKar! Hidden gem ? It is perfect for a quick stop for locals who live in Brooktrails. It's tucked under the trees and easy to miss, but if you haven't been, you should check it out. It's a great spot for a sandwich, deli and dessert options, snacks, wine, and beer.

An excellent place for breakfast or lunch sandwiches! Highly recommend for an easy, yummy meal. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Good beer/drink options and mini market too!

Lovely independent family run deli, 100% worth the slight diversion off 101. Fresh sandwiches, deli counter, lots of treats. Redwoods to relax in if not too hot. Slightly hard to find. Coming from 101, past grocery, behind fence.
