After confirming delivery, the Transport Manager has cancelled the transport because he assumed we could't received due to not having a fork lift (which we hired specifically for this shipment). When contacting him he was very abusive and hang up the phone.
Made us waste time & money.

Bunch of dishonest crooks:

1. On or around 3:30 pm on Friday 16th August 2024, my newly imported boat, a 22 ft Grady White fishing boat on a new Magic Tilt dual axle trailer, was delivered to Interport Cargo’s facility.
2. The boat’s trailer was connected to a forklift operated by an Interport Cargo employee. This occurred in the vicinity of the front of wash bay #2.
3. The forklift operator attempted a seemingly impossible manoeuvre that resulted in the side of the vessel hitting a stack of pallets. The impact occurred on the rear starboard side of the vessel.
4. The forklift operator then attempted another impossible manoeuvre which resulted in the boat and trailer impacting a semi trailer at a considerable force. This impact occurred with boat engine colliding with the semi trailer.
5. A third party witness, not known to either myself nor Interport Cargo at the time, witnessed these events at the time that he was dropping his boat off for steam cleaning.
6. At no time did Interport Cargo advise me of these two incidents.
7. Sometime between the incidents occurring and the 20th August, the witness, made contact with the logistics company that handled the delivery of my vessel to Interport Cargo’s facility as he felt compelled to report the incident to the boat’s owner.
8. The logistics company then alerted me to the incident and provided the witness's contact details to me.
9. I spoke with the witness and he provided me with the above account of events.
10. At approximately 1:00 pm on 20th August 2024 I visited the Interport Cargo facility to address the situation and inspect the damage on my boat.
11. At the time of my inspection the Interport Cargo personnel would not acknowledge that the incident took place.
12. I inspected the boat with the Interport staff and found evidence of impact in the form of scratches in the Gelcoat on the starboard side and rub marks on the engine cowling.
13. As I am not a qualified marine surveyor, I was unable to determine if there was any damage to the pod, engine mounts, transom, steering system, propeller, gearbox or other engine components.
14. Interport have been requested by both the logistics firm and myself to view the CCTV footage, however, Interport Cargo have repeatedly refused to show any CCTV footage. Further, Interport have gone on to say that they have reviewed the footage and that no contact with the vessel even occurred. This is at odds with the 3rd party witness, who brought the incidents to my attention.
15. Interport have failed to provide any staff accounts of the incidents, despite being requested to do so.

If you want your goods unpacked safely and not damaged then don't use Interport Cargo. The despatch of goods was also a disaster with goods being left off. Thats now an extra expense for me. No accountability or common sense here.

Worst company ever. Does not inform cargo storage charge. Only tell you when you pick up. Got billed for $7000 for 4 sqm. Very Very worst company to deal with ever. Going to Fair trading to report these hidden fees

They charge us a massive fuel surcharge, which is not passed on to the people who actually use the fuel, so we are paying it for nothing. How do you trust a company like that with your freight. I don't now. I've found a more honest firm to deal with.

Worst company I've ever dealt with, rude, liers, extortion and intentional withholding and mishandling of stock and Information.
Will be speaking with Dep of fair trading.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, everytime I called they are all hard to deal with. From the time your allowed to pick your cargo up you have 2 days to pick it up or get stung $60 a day every day after and it wasn't anything big (less then 1m2) ... absolute joke

WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.
Plenty of other companies that do the same stuff, and won't make it as difficult as they can for you.
